This was a historic day. The Call DC ‘08…70,000+ radical beleivers gathered to pray and fast for our nation. Can a nation be changed in a day? I believe it was. The fruit of these national solemn assemblies will be very interesting to watch come into play.
Besides attending The Call I also turned sixteen on 8/16…I find it interesting that my heart was so enraptured with this Call and it just so happened to be on my birthday.
This was my first trip ever to DC and I absolutely fell in love with it. I love the city, the monuments, the 20398475 Smithsonians…lol. Capitol Hill is beautiful and magnificent (and it dosent hurt that there is a Starbucks on every corner). Who knew that a rural small town girl like me could love a city like that! I can’t wait to go back…
